Unlocking the Enigmatic Burrow Holes

In the vast world of Baldur's Gate 3, burrow holes offer intriguing shortcuts and alternative paths, accessible only to the diminutive. As you explore the wilderness, keen Perception checks will reveal these hidden openings. However, gaining entry requires shrinking your character to a Tiny size.

Enlarge-Reduce: The Key to Small-Scale Exploration

The Enlarge-Reduce spell (Transmutation, Level 2) is the most straightforward method for traversing burrow holes. Cast upon your character, it enables you to shrink down, granting access to these otherwise inaccessible passages.

Alternatively, if your character possesses the innate ability to alter their size, such as the Wild Shape ability of Druids, you can transform into a smaller creature and navigate the burrow holes with ease.

Crevices: A Slightly Larger Challenge

Crevices, while slightly larger than burrow holes, still present a challenge for larger characters. Small races, such as Gnomes and Halflings, can navigate these crevices without the need to shrink.

Disguise Self and Gaseous Form: Cunning Passage

The Disguise Self spell (Illusion, Level 1) allows you to alter your character's appearance, enabling them to temporarily resemble a smaller race and fit through the crevices.

The Toll House holds a tantalizing secret room. Accessing it, however, requires ingenuity and problem-solving.

Solving the Stone Chair Puzzle

To gain entry to the Toll House, you must first possess the Toll Key, located on its south side. Once inside, you'll encounter the Stone Chair Puzzle. Solve this puzzle by placing a vase on each of the two Stone Chairs, jumping over the grey plate on the floor, and then jumping back over the plate.

Completing the Basement Puzzle

The Toll House Basement is locked and houses a secret chamber. To unlock it, you must find the key and use it to open the door. Completing this puzzle grants access to the secret chamber, revealing valuable loot and rewards.
